Course Description:

This course provides the student with a solid understanding and working ability with computers and office automation software. Basic and intermediate topics covered include word-processors, spreadsheets, database and computer operations. Students will obtain skills in all topic areas through hands-on examples and computer laboratory assignments.

A letter grade is assigned to each of the following:

for a total of 11 letter grades.

The lowest grade of the 11 letter grades will be the final grade for the course.

Each test may be repeated up to three times to improve its grade. Make-up tests may be taken during lab hours or other arranged times outside of class. Online students can repeat a test anytime after taking the first test.

Students are given the opportunity to correct errors or omissions in Computer Lab Assignments provided they are turned in by the due dates listed below. (except for Access Project 4-6 which are due on the last day of the semester).
